Celebrated Hawaiian Artist
Al is a creative genius and a profoundly grounded Hawaiian artist. He also draws upon his experience from the Americas, Japan, Italy, France, Belgium and Spain. Lagunero has spent many years in the art industry, as a free-lance illustrator, artist, gallery owner, and a director of a Hawaiian culture and educational center in Maui. Since 1959, he has exhibited in local, national, and international venues. He has also volunteered in the community in the areas of arts, sciences, and spirituality for over 30 years.
